Made my friend’s bridal set!
I am a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and I am honored to say that she’s entrusted me with making her jewelry set for her wedding. I’m far from professional and am still at the level where I’m ordering the pieces and assembling them more than carving, pouring, and polishing my own creations, but I’m so very proud of this!
All of the metal pieces are a mix of 14k and 18k gold. Real pearls (imperfect ones, but that is what her and I preferred), and glass drop flower beads. This is the first time I’ve made a piece so dainty and I’m incredibly happy with how it’s turned out. Still waiting on the earring posts to arrive to mount the dangles, but that’s a very simple step to complete.
The longer earrings with the three flowers are for the wedding itself and she requested a smaller pair for her to wear for the bachelorette party, so that is what the little set is. I had originally made the matching necklace and bracelet as her wedding set and decided to add the additional necklace as another option for her to choose from. Made similar but simpler designs for all of the bridesmaids as well.
Hopefully someday I can expand my knowledge and capabilities in the jewelry making department, but I’m very proud of the progress I’ve made in recent years with suck limited space and budget. Thank you for looking and reading! The pictures aren’t the best, I’m using my cruddy phone camera, but am happy to post closer pics in the comments if anyone is curious about seeing details close up.
