Not a dramatic story but it's been sitting with me. He runs a small business, 18 months in, doing well. Nearly brought someone on full time based on gut feel. Accountant caught it weeks later at the quarterly check-in.
The thing that got me — all that info was already in his Xero. The numbers were there. He just didn't know what they were telling him. He called his financials "a report written in a language I half-speak."
Has anyone else felt this? How did you get past it?
