Turned in my Resignation

Hit my fire number around January of this year ($2.5M) and finally gave my notice 15 April. I'm retired military with a good pension. Also have zero debt.

Im 47 and I know that I am financially set but still feel nervous about retiring. I interviewed and hired my replacement at work. I feel very conflicted about someone taking over my position because I put so much time and effort into building that position up.

Anyone else feel like this way?

I will still consult at the company once a week for the next couple of months.
