Nausea won’t go away:(
Hi all! This is my first post in this forum but I’ve been on Tirz for about 10 weeks now and I’m down almost 20lbs. My journey up until this past weekend had been amazing. A few weeks ago, I did start to feel like my dose of 2.2mg (50 units) wasn’t as effective as in the beginning. I was starting to hear my food noise again although I was still losing about a lb a week. I was on 2.2 for 8 weeks so I felt like it was a good idea to move up to the 4.4mg. I took my first dose of that two weeks ago and the following week I was fine. Food noise was gone again and I was still eating a good amount of calories each day. Fast forward to this past Friday, I do my second dose of the 4.4 only to wake up Saturday extremely nauseous. The nausea has now lasted four days and has gotten slightly better in the past 24 hours but it is still present and I really have not been able to eat that much. I’m down like 5lbs since Saturday which is not good or healthy. When I messaged my doctor on mochi (I know a lot of people don’t recommend mochi but I am looking to switch really soon) she was so blasé about me not eating and being nauseous for days which kinda ticked me off and made me definitely want to switch providers.. All she said was that she could prescribe zofran and she urged me not to skip my Friday shot even thought I’m honestly terrified of taking it given how I have felt for the past 4 days. If anyone has advice or anything to add, I would appreciate that. I’m just really nervous about taking the third shot this Friday since I have felt so weak and my body has not been receiving good nutrition the past few days.
