Where I live in the UK, it seems even the smallest project has a dp with more experience and better kit than me, even for expenses only jobs. I need a better reel to stand a chance, I'm not getting the opportunity shoot other peoples projects so I'll have to shoot my own fuckin' stuff. Only problem is producing and directing is far outside my wheelhouse and taking on multiple hats will erode my cinematography, which was the point of doing it in the first place? Anyone else relate to what I'm saying?
