Hello, I’m new to this group. I was just diagnosed with osteoporosis. I am wondering if anyone has localized osteoporosis in the femoral neck hip ? My numbers are -2.5 are both sides for one spot. The rest of the areas on the femoral neck are osteopenia. The total hip numbers are normal and my forearm and spine are normal too. I have an upcoming appointment with the doc. I have severe GERD so meds probably won’t be in the cards. I’m 69F.
