Why is my new drain draining slowly?
Homeowner here, trying to learn something and save some money. I've learned a bunch but I seem to be missing a concept. Full advice needed and any tips or tricks please. The drain do be draining but it seems to not have the airflow needed. I am replacing a double sink basin with a single large basin after it fell through one night.
UPDATE: running a 2 or 3 foot snake from the aav entry didnt reveal anything. I removed the aav to test if removing it would allow for air flow before I released the water from the basin and the results were the same: the water eventually flowed upward out of the aav entry on top.
UPDATE 2: a lot are mentioning clog. But it would be insane timing as this issue only happened when my double basin sink fell through and I had to rearrange the plumbing for a single basin sink. The previous configuration did not have an AAV at all and would drain at a normal rate but was very loud about it.
