For context, I moved to another state for my current role but since it’s mainly remote, I travel a lot between where i moved from and where i live now. So when interviewing for roles in my home state, I tell them I live there. Why? To avoid any rejections due to me not living in the state.

So now, in the initial phone screen I had told them I was from the state their company was in. Fast forward they ask me to come in for an onsite to which I replied to I won’t be in town til x/xx/xxxx. In this case, is asking for any travel reimbursements warranted for (flights, uber to and from place, meals, etc)?
