There’s been a lot of attention recently around insider trading in politics.
Some start-ups have jumped on this by building platforms where you can follow those trades.
But there’s a big problem: by the time that data becomes public, it’s often weeks or even months old. At that point, you’re not really following insiders - you’re just reacting late.
So I built insidercopytrading.com
Instead of political disclosures, it focuses on company insider filings. Executives and directors are required to report their trades to the SEC within 2 business days.
The key feature is that it doesn’t just display these trades - it lets you replicate insider buying as a strategy, meaning you can automatically mirror when insiders are buying shares, based on new filings as they come in.
No manual tracking of filings or decision-making around individual trades.
I’m still improving it, so I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback. My goal is to make this the most user-friendly and complete insider trading platform out there.
