So i’m halfway trough volume 12 of the manga and am at the part where marcille becomes the next dungeon lord.
The abilities of dungeon lords so far have differed a lot from the regular magic used by other characters, for example the creation of familiars by using existing calories as opposed to just summoning monsters out of nowhere.
When marcille used ancient magic on Falin it looked and seemed like she was casting a regular spell (just a more advanced form), but when she becomes a dungeon lord she just commands the winged lion and wishes something into existence. Is that ancient magic? or is that just the demon’s ability? It doesn’t seem to require any verbal components like a regular (or ancient) spell
I’m just a little curious about the actual differences in mechanics between the regular magic, ancient magic and the magic of the demon, and if the latter two are the same thing.
Again, i haven’t finished the full series yet so i don’t know if this will be explained. It’s probably not that relevant but just something i was wondering.
