14 months post-op of a trimalleolar fracture-dislocation. The material gives me pain and I have nerves issues. Should I remove it ? What's your experience ?
Hey guys! I've been 14 months post-up after falling 3 meters high while climbing. The recovery was hard, but I'm getting better now.
🦴 3 broken malleolus and a complete syndesmosis rupture
So I have (almost permanent) nerve damage in my leg and foot (i had a neurological test done a few months ago) and the material in my ankle, whenever there is pressure, hurts me so much!
I'm wondering if anyone of you had your material removed and regained nerve activity?
I'm also immunocompromised so I really need to weigh the potential impacts of having a surgery. I've looked on the internet, but I need opinions.
Thank you all very much.
