I'm paranoid and I value my privacy, so I absolutely have to get away from that cursed Windows but unfortunately the only alternative I've found is this OS of misery and damnation.
I've been trying to set it up for three days now, and for practically EVERYTHING I do there's some kind of problem, seriously just to get sound working or even worse to open a simple game i have to watch 30 minutes videos and even then it doesn’t work without a million other things to fix , I’m going to calm down, otherwise I’ll have another 1000 lines of text to write.
So if I don’t want to send my data to millionaires who do who knows what with it, I have no choice but to switch to Linux but i’m wondering if there aren’t any alternatives, like modified versions of Windows or some other unknown custom OS ? I just want to be able to do simple things like launch an app normally while still having some privacy.
I know about unbloat, deleting Cortana, telemetry, etc but even that doesn’t really disable everything. I want something that’s completely cut off from the system
