Regarding some of the stuff that's being talked about in this subreddit

Addressing this to everyone who's been reading some of the stuff being talked about on this subreddit the past couple days.

If you're someone under the LBGTQ+ umbrella. Hello! how are you doing? I hope the heat hasn't been too much to deal with back there. I'm talking directly to you. You are loved. You are valid. There is nothing wrong with the way you are, who you love or however you choose to or want to present. My relationship with faith is spotty at best but I do sincerely believe if God exists and is truly as kind and merciful as we've been told so many times there is no way he doesn't love you for you who are. I came out to my parents and my mom was is one of the most devout/fundamentalist muslims I know and even her after being a little shook for a few months came around and told me she still loved me regardless of who I was. Granted I had already move to a different country so she didn't have much agency in what she could do. My dad is still very on the fence about everything but I'm sure he'll come around one day. Try to live life to its fullest. Try and find opportunities to be more free so you can be yourself better. Do not give up. It took me 27 years of struggling but I'm finally in a place now where I'm free to do what I want and am surrounded by people who genuinely care for me. Life still isn't easy but that's life. Never give up. Don't let these zealots get to you. All they've been taught is hate by religious figure heads who want to police their minds and tell them what's right and what's wrong for their own personal benefit. Feel free to message me if you need someone to talk to. Try and find friends who's views align with yours. Make community. Hang out. Have fun. Enjoy life. Being happy and yourself is not a sin.

To the people who aren't under the umbrella but are still allies. Thankyou so much for reminding people like me that there are still people capable of thinking for themselves and being able to distinguish right from wrong on their own without a system of belief governing their thoughts that only exists to keep them subservient.
