What gimbal do you use? I hate mine
I’ve been doing real estate photography for a little over a year, and video isn’t my strongest asset just yet, so I recently got a gimbal to practice more.
I’m using a DJI RS 3 Mini with a Sony A7IV + Sigma 16-35mm, and based on the gimbal’s specs, the weight should technically be okay. But for some reason, I’m really struggling to balance it.
The tilt axis especially is giving me trouble. Even when I get it close, making tiny adjustments feels almost impossible. If I push it slightly, it slides all the way in one direction and I have to start over.
It also feels quite stiff overall, which makes balancing harder than I expected. I got this one specifically because of the weight and the size, I wanted something small.
Has anyone used a similar setup? Is this normal with the RS 3 Mini, or is this camera/lens combo just not ideal for it?
What gimbal do you use for real estate video? Would you recommend switching to a larger gimbal, or using a smaller setup for videos?
