Thoughts on In Praise of the Stepmother by Vargas Llosa?
This book is far outside my usual reading habits, but I hadn’t read any Vargas Llosa and figured this little book would be a good intro to his work. Despite being filthy, I actually really enjoyed the characters and how they interfaced with classic art works. Has anyone else read this one recently?
