That's the main thing that doesn't make sense. It seems with how little the family or anyone did to actually find this girl when she was missing knowing she be with David if he just didn't leave the body sitting in the car and took somewhere isolated she'd probably never be found. If he really wanted to be caught deep down what's the point of cutting the body?
