Hello,

Had a couple questions regarding my situation. Green card holder since 2018 by marriage. My wife and I have been separated for years now, since around before Covid. She went to San Antonio to live with her fam (mom is sick), we had issues before that. Anyways, we lost track of each other. Haven't spoken since then, don't know where she is, don't care. I wanted to apply for citizenship, and it's been over 5 years.

What do you suggest? Should I divorce first, or does it not matter under the 5 year rule? Just trying not to run into any hiccups.
