Canceling after a freeze
Went on a freeze after trying to cancel my membership and they gave me a complimentary freeze which I know regret doing😭 but all they told me was that I had to let them know if I wanted to cancel 30 days prior. Well I let them know well before that window, and now they are saying that I need still pay for the last month…. They said that the contract says that I need to be billed the last month when you cancel. The contract doesn’t say that, it says I need to pay an additional if I don’t notify them within 30 days
“If your membership automatically renews, then you may cancel at any time without penalty by providing Club Pilates—- with a 30-day advance written notice prior to your next billing cycle. Whether you are a month-to-month or fixed term member, once Club Pilates —- receives your written notice of cancellation, your membership will remain active until the expiration of vour then-current billing cycle. Provided, however. if vou provide notice less than thirty (30) davs from vour next billing cycle this you will be charged for an additional billing cycle and this Agreement will remain active until the end of that billing cycle.”
