Recently took 2 weeks off from work (for the first time since starting my practice 🥳) and I got engaged!
I’m likely overthinking all of this, but…
I’ve been planning to raise my fees this summer, and it suddenly feels a bit tone deaf to do that after taking a 2 week vacation to Asia and then coming back with a big diamond ring. I’ve never been engaged before or had any obvious self-disclosure that I haven’t intentionally chosen to share, so I’m struggling a bit with how it may be perceived. It’s likely I’m projecting some of my own insecurities here, but figured I’d see if this has come up for anyone else.
