A little help on utilities cost please...
Hello everyone, I am planning on coming to Granada as an Erasmus student in February and while I know it's a long time coming, I am a working student and would like to know how much should I start saving up.
My scholarship will be around 1,100 euro (if I manage to get the TOP UP) and I was initially planning on bringing an extra 1,000 euro by saving up parts of my paycheck. I was planning on putting aside 550 euro of my monthly budget for the rent and utility bills. Me and my friend want to rent a 2 bedroom apartment.
I have already been in Granada and fell in love with it heavily so when the opportunity presented I couldn't wait to do so. In my time, I stayed in the city center near the Cathedral and loved the area so I am hoping to try and relocate there with my friend who is tagging along.
My question is, how much would the average utility bills be for a 60-80 m2 apartment. I know this may be a dumb question and no one will be able to tell me the exact amount as it depends on us, but a rough estimate would be really helpful. Thank you in advance! Mucho gracias!
