Series 7 - Advice
Hi, I just took the series 7 and passed on the first try. I used achievable as my study material provider and didn’t score below an 86 on a full exam. I felt that achievable works well in explaining the material in an easy to ready format. However, compared to the actual exam, their questions lacked those small details that throw you off. It’s pretty easy to spot out the right answer on achievable by process of elimination, but on the real exam there are two answers that seem like the could be correct. I felt the real exam was significantly more difficult than any practice tests and I used up nearly all of the allotted time. I recommend getting comfortable with all securities, the way they’re taxed, and what risks are associated with them.
