When to meet with an advisor

Hey background here I’m 27 with 81k in investments. Maxing 401k, Roth IRA, and another 6k/year in personal brokerage account. About 80% of funds go into several index funds and 20% are personal blue chip picks (Aamazon, Walmart, oreilly auto, nvidia, etc).

I’m a finance grad but don’t work in finance so my skills aren’t where a finance managers. But I don’t see them offering much more value at this time compared to my current personal plan and goals.

When should I sit down with one? Are they worth it if u more or less keep on top of it yourself? When in closer to retirement I understand the need but as a young investor it seems more like a waste of commission for the next 40 years
