Hello,

Our boxwoods looked like this after a winter in mid Michigan (the top picture). They were fine during winter. So we cut away the dead pieces and what we are left with is basically stumps (the bottom photo). My question is, should we leave the stumps in hopes that they’ll regrow? Or are they done? They get part sun most of the day spring thru summer. They were established when we moved in and we do not water them. Thanks!
