Filter Question

I bought a Cascade Pro Series III. It came with what looked to me to be the smallest pouch of carbon and ceramic rings. I’m running it on a 75 gallon cichlid tank. Should I buy more carbon and ceramic rings? I feel like my HOB filter had more carbon.

Please tell me those dots on his tail are just his colors. Didn’t notice this when I picked him out. Good news, I’ll be able to treat this in this tank and hopefully get rid of it before starting the new tank if it’s ich.
