Look I switched from KDE to hyprland because my reddit feed was full of it and i have it a try.. Pretty good as you can see.BUT right now I am seeing really good niri setups in my reddit feed. Its tempting me, Since hyprland is migrating lua, what a perfect excuse(Definitely I am not lazy)
I been ricing with matgen for a week. I've setted most of the things. But thing that is Bugging me that Can you create custom scheme/theme for vscode on using matugen? i havent dug far into Themes of Vscode.
My first rice was SirEthanor's dotfiles. the config files were all symlinked, so every time you switched themes they'd get overwritten. Completely logical design, but my brain couldn't adjust to editing the source instead of the config directly. Lost my changes constantly. So I thought, why not just make my own?
First attempts were rough. Dug through a lot of people's dots, grabbed bits from here and there, colors were way off at first. Templates are a great starting point but they still need a lot of personal tinkering you can see the coloring issues in the screenshots, that's on me.
But the moment I got blur working, cried. Like it was my first time doing a rice that is remotely mine..
Got Hyprlock working too and a bunch of other things I haven't even shown here. Still have VS Code and a few other things left to sort out, but I'm beyond happy with where it's at.
I was trying to install Waydroid on Arch and ran into a mirror mismatch, so I updated the system. During setup, I attempted to install binder-related modules but hit errors.
This led me to upgrade to the latest 7.0.3 kernel (my system was previously working on 6.x). I also had GRUB issues because my boot partition was nearly full and had to fix that.
After the update, the system stopped booting. I switched to linux-zen (also 7.0.3) and removed the old 6.x kernel, which made it worse. Now I’m getting a kernel panic.
I’ve booted into Kali and tried to chroot into my Arch install to repair GRUB, but I’m encountering errors there as well.
Looking for guidance on recovering the system.
