I tend to use only Kashmiri chilli powder when I cook Indian food but I've been wanting to kick the heat up a notch and add a spicier powder as well. Now I could always just buy so basic hot chilli powder from my local Indian grocer but I'd prefer something with a bit more depth to it. Does anyone have a recommendation for a specific variety of chilli for chilli powder that is spicy but also not one note.
