Looking for fixed light setup recommendations (dynamo or chargeable batteries)

Do you have any good recommendations for a fixed light setup that is either powered by a dynamo (preferable) or by removable and rechargeable batteries?
I moved from a European country to the US a couple years ago. Coming from a very bike-able country it was common to have a fixed dynamo setup that you never had to worry about, it was just always working. I ride my bike a lot and all I have are lights that I have to take off every single time. I bike in the dark a lot (mostly bike trails), but I am so tired of having to put on lights before every ride and potentially having a light go out on me, because they don’t show how much charge is left in them.
I have a basket on my bike rack, so something that attaches to the rack rather than below the saddle is preferable.
I did some research and just can find anything that would work…
