Help with m sport steering wheel airbag error

Hello! I have a 2013 328i xdrive sportline, I replaced the base steering wheel with an m sport one, and got a used oem airbag that is a dual stage with the blue vent plug (3 plugs). I’m in Canada and I believe all North American spec cars are dual stage by default. I finished installing the wheel but now I’m getting an error code 93090: airbag driver first level resistance too great…

I disconnected the battery before installing this as well. Is this something I just need to code out with a tool that’s not Bimmerlink? I tried with link and it didn’t let me. Or maybe an issue with the black connector pins since this was used?

Please help!

Thanks

About to buy a 2013 BMW 328I xDrive F30 from my cousin

Hey guys,

Could I get some insight/advice on this purchase?

My cousin offered to sell me his 2013 BMW 328i xDrive F30 that he bought back in 2012 for $5500 CAD, original owner no accidents, and it has only 110,000 km's driven on it. That's pretty low for a 13 year old car right? He doesn't drive this car anymore so hes looking to get rid of it to free up his garage.

He wouldn't lie or scam me because we're family and I'm pretty sure he took good care of the car. He said he used to do regular oil changes.

We brought the car to our mechanic a couple of days ago after a test drive (test drive was fine) and the mech said it'll need a new battery, new tires (all 4), new rear brakes, and new fluids all for $3000 CAD. Reason being is he left it in his garage for about a year and I guess the battery died, brakes got rusty and his tires aren't in good shape and worn out. He hasn't done any mods to this either

I heard about timing belt issues with this car, and I dont believe he got this one replaced, is that something I should look out for?

I'm also going to be splitting the cost with my girlfriend so it'll be half of what the price is. So total would be $5.5k + the $3k replacements in CAD. We both work good jobs

I'm not a car guy so bare with me if I sound like a noob, but yeah just wanted to get your perspective.

Thanks :)

Hey guys, a year into investing now since I landed a job out of new grad. Anything I should fix or keep pumping VFV and VE? I noticed VE isn’t a very popular 😅

Maxed out FHSA and am 2.5 months away from maxing TFSA.

Not sure if I should buy some XEQT and VDY, I see those along VFV are the most popular here
