Same with the title. Could you compare it with the previous version of toefl reading exam too?

Hello, cool guys.
I am a student who got 4.5 at the previous exam and I am preparing for the next with a goal of over 5.0.

When I prepared this before, I prepared the writing and speaking part mostly with templates. But these days, I feel like there is too much abstract or filling sentences when I use some templates.

Therefore even though I have several grammar issues especially in speaking, would it be better to take it without templates, just keeping care about its structure more- argue/example/conclusion etc. Or sticking into templates would be a better decision ?

Let me know your experience. I just noticed that the more I use templates, my answers are not specific anymore.
