I am shocked

Unimelb study on how there are a young people are having increasingly hostile attitudes towards woman was released about 2 months ago. I read it just now and it’s just shocking.
I understand if older and more traditional generations have horrible attitudes and misogynistic perspectives (but even then it’s terrible as well) but the increasing amount of youth who feel the same is just appalling to know when given the stats.

Question for getting into MD

So I know that for getting into med you need Gamsat, gpa and interview and you need to do well on all of them but I’ve been getting mixed answers for gpa so if anyone could clarify for me that would be amazing 🥹
I’m in first yr biomed and I want to get into postgrad med, either here or anywhere else cuz MD is MD fr
But I’ve been confused as to what actually matters in terms of grades. I’m taking CHEM10006 this semester and lowkey I don’t think I’ll be getting like a 100% on the exam cuz who tf can and what even is going on in this subject I’m losing my marbles 🫩🫩
How does the grading system work? Say my exam was a bit eh but my semester marks carried and I end up with H1 or H2A overall for that subject then does my GPA decrease? Or my WAM? and does it matter if my wam decreases if I’m just trying to maintain a high GPA because H1 threshold is 80%+l and med applications only have a gpa entry requirement? Like I want good grades ofc but like I don’t want to get sucked into the endless grades, studying, sacrificing my soul for the marks kinda business again 💀.
Like what do I need to maintain for a competitive enough gpa/wam for med?
