Trying to be flexible during our Kenai Peninsula trip.

Wife and I have been planning our first trip to Alaska for months. We know we can never make assumptions about the weather but we were hoping to spend our week and a half hiking as much as we could. Being from the PNW we don’t mind the wet/cold/snowy but we were hoping to see more greenery.

We arrive this weekend and are realizing the trails we were hoping to hike might not all be accessible. We were hoping for Harding Icefield and exit glacier.

We will be all over the peninsula, anchorage, alyeska, veldez, Whittier, Seward, Homer and up to talkeetna.

Any last minute suggestions would be great as we don’t know what to expect. Thanks in advance!
