Started with a 14.8 AHI (86 total RERA), Arousal index of 33.9. Six months later and my stats are full of 0.00%!

Yes, 14.8 is considered mild, but the arousal index showing I woke up 33.9/hr was insane. And it had been going on for 10+ years. I still have some arousals, but my sleep isn't anywhere near as bad or fragmented as what I've been dealing with for so long. It used to take me 1-2 hours to fall asleep, and then I'd be fully awake every 30 minutes - 1 hour, until I finally just got so frustrated, I'd get out of bed. I'd be exhausted all day long, to the point of wanting to cry, and falling asleep on and off all day, even at work.. in meetings, fml.

Now, I fall asleep within 15 minutes of getting into bed?! Which is amazing to me. I do remember waking up once or twice sometimes, but I'm not FULLY awake like before. I wake up feeling good/don't feel like I died in my sleep, haha. I do still get sleepy/nod off during the afternoon, but I'm working on it.

My point is - the CPAP therapy is going amazingly well. The machine is doing what it's supposed to: keep my airway open so I can breathe whilst sleeping. I know the sleep fragmentation is going to take time to resolve - I feel like it's a complex problem and it's been there for a decade or more, after all. But I'm already seeing positive directional trends in my data - and I couldn't be happier!

Made a low-budget DIY mask liner for P30i

Hey, All - I use a p30i and love it, but silicone really irritates my skin - even that little bit that actually touches. Liners work great: I have one that I ordered from etsy a while back - love it: very soft, keeps the skin healthy, great seal, etc. But due to *reasons* buying any more liners are a luxury right now. So it occurred to me that I could just use some gloves I have laying around and haven't used in years. I washed them up and cut a finger off from the glove, slide onto the mask, cut some more for the nostrils and filter and voila!: new liners!

Is it as soft or nice-looking as the regular one I bought on etsy? No. Does it look a bit silly, like a child made it? Yes; yes it does. But I didn't have to spend any $ and it does what I need it to do.

Anyway - I hope no one else needs to do something this pitiful for liners and can just buy them, but thought I'd share anyway, just in case it's a useful idea for someone else.
