I want to get a clinical psychology PhD. I really need a lot of help! I’m not sure if I should get a PsyD now:(

I have a lot of research experience, but only two posters. No publications. I also have four years of clinical experience.

What Universities should I apply to if I want to get a PsyD that specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, assessments, and neuroscience? Should I just do the PhD route instead? How should I know what is better for me?

Thoughts on my chances to get into a Neuropsychology program with assessments?

Graduated from UCLA with Psych Major and Minor in Neuroscience. 3.77 GPA

Worked for 4 years with children with Autism as an RBT.

2 and a few months years of Research volunteering and some paid:
6 months doing my own clinical research helping my ABA clients (paid)
One at USC with Neuro Imaging related to children (EEG)
Less than a year at UCLA with Neuro Imaging related to children with autism (fMRI)
6 months as a paid pediatric clinical coordinator

I have two research posters, contributed to a meta analysis, and have helped a project from start to finish to be launched.

Help.. Just Help. Navigating my labs as a post baccalaureate is so tricky.

I am working part time in a lab. It’s good pay though and it can help me through my masters grad program. I am the research coordinator and it is so hard. I am getting better at it, but there’s a lot to do with so little time. I sometimes work over time and then I can “deduct” it from my next work day, but that translates to breaks. I cannot leave work early:/. My PI is okay with working with my schedule for grad school. I am scared they will abuse my schedule though:(

My other lab I volunteer for is saying that I need to commit a lot of time this semester to get trained to continue this project. I WORKED so HARD for that. It clashes with my timeline for grad school tho. I put in the majority of the work for that project and I don’t know if they will give me credit unless I continue with it. It’s phase 1 of 3 parts. What do I do???

My other lab I volunteer for does not have as much work for me, but it aligns with my masters work more than my other volunteer-based lab. I need to talk to them to see if I can work something out for a project.

I AM stressed. I want to go to school part time, work part time, and volunteer this next year… does that even work out??? I have a hard time thinking things ahead and need help:(
