Shitposting has paid off yet again
To preface I know the answer is likely going to be to get into the crawl space to take a look, but we’ve got a week straight of rain so I’m trying to wait for it to dry out first.
I basically have a spot of uneven floor that’s been bothering me for a bit. I moved the cabinet that was here to see this which has not been encouraging. The spots are dry to the touch and solid, but there is a sticky tar like substance in some of the cracks. This is a 1930 construction house and I believe the floor is original, so very old. From looking at the picture, is anyone able to give any insight?
I appreciate anything you can send my way!
