How do you think a Tectonic game should look like?
Hi all,
I am making Tectonic Inc., a video game about tectonic activities (earthquake, tsunami, volcano, meteor impact) and their consequences for humanity and earth environment.
Right now the game is participating in a game jam. It is still in very early stage of dev.
I wonder if you can give me your thought about the gameplay or anything.
For the noment i have a plan to make simple and casual gameplay :
\- Move a small or micro plate, wait for the accumulated stress resulted an earthquake. Get TP (Tectonic Points).
\- Use the TP to move more plates, save it for bigger plates (sub continental or continental), or for upgrade a research tree.
\- Research tree : you can upgrade your earthquake to have tsunami side effect or unlock subduction which can make volcanoes.
\- Rinse and repeat till you make enough damage to earth environment that it cannot go back to its previous condition again.
But i am considering another gameplay : sandbox.
You shape the earth with continental drift, making mountains, trenches. There will be a scenario too, where you must achieve Yellowstone eruption or Toba strikes back.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Pengalaman Gue Ikut Game Jam Pertama Kali
Guys, seru banget ternyata ikut Game Jam itu. Kita cuma dikasih waktu 1 minggu bikin gamenya. Itu pun dikerjain di sela-sela kesibukan harian. Apalagi ini perorangan bukan team.
Alhasil hasilnya banyak game yang di-submit penuh bug, termasuk punya gue.
Tapi gue takjub karena gak ngira banyak game buatan peserta yang bagus-bagus juga ada walau waktunya terbatas.
Oh ya, game jamnya namanya Synty 12th Birthday Game Jam. Ini link game buatan gue :

Kalau sempat boleh coba main aja. Gamenya dimainkan lewat browser (chrome, firefox, safari). Tapi bisa juga pake mobile browser kok (chrome di android). Aku bikinnya mobile friendly, jadi gak pake mouse juga bisa. Gamenya singkat cuma bbrp menit aja.
Tapi, gak bisa ikut voting ya, karena cuma peserta yg bisa vote. Kalau mau support tinggalkan aja comment di page itch.io nya 😊

Bosen Joystik Rusak Mulu
Ini stik minta jajan lagi. Tiap tahun.
Selalu analognya yg rusak, kali ini yang kanan (analog drift).
Ada sekali tombol LB rusak karena main Sekiro kelamaan.
Pernah gak loe coba perbaiki sendiri analog drift?

I am making a padel tennis mobile game in Unity using Claude Sonnet to code (i cannot code), chat GPT for discussing features and non AI assets like Synty for 3D models.
But the development is too slow. How can i use AI tools to improve my game?
