Benedict's law: all schools in UK to have AAIs and allergy training

What do you guys think? I can see a lot of unnecessary AAI administration happening on the back of this, but hopefully some positive impacts too. Maybe I'm a little biased against because we use Pathways here which thinks basically everything is anaphylaxis.

Finished* my masters and am taking no joy from life

I'm experiencing a really weird feeling.

I've been on a healthcare MSc programme part-time since 2023 while working in a job I really enjoy.

The course was challenging but mostly enjoyable for the first two years. The last year has been a nightmare. One short module was appallingly bad, and unfortunately, instead of a proper dissertation, the final project was building on that module into a larger written report and a similarly terrible taught module.

I had eight months to do this report and completely disengaged from it almost the whole time. Constant procrastination. Gaming, reading, creative writing, doing anything but my work. Lots of comfort eating. I'm actually quite proud of some of the creative things I achieved in this time but overall it's felt horrible. A constant feeling of stress and guilt, gaining weight, no energy for the gym.

I ended up cranking out the report in a couple of days, mostly in the week before the deadline, and submitted it a few days ago. I don't think it's going to get a great mark, but I think it's good enough to scrape a pass.

Since then, I've barely eaten, hardly touched my PC, mostly just sat around doing nothing. I keep picking up food and putting it back in the fridge. I feel tired all day no matter how much sleep I get.

Is this a normal reaction to unburdening from a chronic stressor? Or subconscious nerves while I await grading? I acknowledge it's been less than a week, but this doesn't feel like me.

Really sad that I felt that way for the whole of 2026 so far. I was so excited to start the MSc and it turned into such a disappointment. I never thought I'd be the kind of student who is okay with scraping a pass. I just wanted the bloody thing over and done with so I could get my life back, and now I have it, I don't want to do anything with it.

Request - Grassy Knollington

I've found one strip up here already about Top Gear, but I seem to remember really enjoying one about 99p ice creams.

Help me, u/muppetmovie. You're my only hope.
