Like new corded electric mower free to anyone who needs it

There's a back story. The mower was bought in 2008 without consultation between the other adults in the house. It was used maybe four times before the purchaser made the mistake of thinking they could run it over the power cord instead of moving the power cord out of the way. The power cord, which was expensive, ended up in three pieces. A new cordless battery mower was purchased and is still in use to this day. The corded mower was relegated to the garage and just sat there for the last 18 years. Suddenly it's been decided that the garage needs more room, so unused things need to go.

If this isn't claimed by Wednesday (2026-Aug-19) then it will end up going to the electronics recycler. While I realize technology has moved on, it still seems really wasteful to just throw away and destroy something that functions perfectly.

Do note, it does NOT come with an extension cord, which is necessary for it to be very useful. I am even willing to deliver it if you're in or relatively nearby Belleville.

Free firewood to a good home

Okay, this might be a long shot, but who wants my wood? 😂 I chopped down two blue spruce trees and two cedar trees. The wood is stove length, but obviously green as it just was chopped last weekend. I don't want it sitting on my driveway any longer, so if someone has a use for it as starter or firewood, they can come get it (or if they're nearby I would even deliver it.)

>Java Enhancement Proposal 401 for Value Classes and Objects – part of
Project Valhalla – will be integrated into the OpenJDK mainline early
next month, targeting JDK 28.

On a lighter note, it looks like Java gets interesting way in the future 😉

How to make a proper 3D saddle shape?

Someone on Reddit was requesting (before the post got taken down, unfortunately) for a lacrosse neck guard thing, their pics is here: https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/587d2b0d2994cac55f3c8a05/1525388146621-HYH4KUVOCV9NC5SR5TBN/IMG_8521_shieldwithshadow.jpg?format=1500w

I tried to come up with something, but unfortunately I don't really know what I am doing. Anyone care to fix this? https://pastebin.com/783N0A2T
