Most of my charms were gifted at birthdays, Christmas or other life events by my grandparents throughout the years of me growing up. They now serve as a sentimental and beautiful reminder of all the years I got to spend with them and each charm contains a small memory tied to them in some way ❤️🫶
I recently added an edelweiss myself as a final token of them since they met eachother in Austria 65 years ago and loved to go there every summer.
The swan and ball of hearts my grandma gifted me from her own collection on the day of my granddad’s funeral, which was also sadly the day before she passed herself. It was like she knew she had to go and wanted to gift me a final thing from them❤️
