Colette prestige 3 solo done
If you value your time and joy, don't ever do this solo. That is one of the most painful experiences you can have in this game. I hit my table like four times in frustration.
So, here is some stuff I can say from my journey:
My Top 3 Most Hated Brawlers to Face: First, being the most obvious of all, is Edgar. Like cockroaches, they are everywhere and are annoying. Even if I defeat one, there is almost always another one that is about to jump on me, or when I am fighting someone, an NPC Edgar decides to use their single brain cell to jump on me, getting both of us killed. The second is Kit, as having a Kit in a match means I am forced to camp, otherwise, I will be at risk of getting backshots from a invisible cat. To the surprise of most, the third is Colette herself, mainly because I had terrible experiences with them being annoying and very prone to backstabbing, even when it didn't make sense to do so. They would spin like a Beyblade, but the moment I got anywhere close to them, they would try to kill me. At one point, I was a single match away from getting 3,000 trophies, only to get 6th place because I got backstabbed by another Colette, then I lost three more matches in a row. I got so angry about these Colettes that I decided that if I see another Colette in my match, I will absolutely prioritise killing them over other brawlers.
Before someone says all I did is play spindown, you are very much wrong. I avoided teaming because I am a terrible teamer; I was literally too nice and would never backstab, which often led to me being backstab instead, like what happened with the Colettes I faced. Lobbies full of teamers were pretty much a guaranteed loss for me. Instead, what worked for me was blasting some metal music to boost my confidence while I tried to murder anyone that got in my sight.
With Colette, the most important thing for you to do is try to get two hits to progress your Super as quickly as possible at the start of the match while people are busy grabbing the boxes. Use the hypnotize gadget to help get some hits if needed, otherwise, you will most likely get jumped on by some NPC Edgar and die because you have no progress toward your Super.
Never push her on closed maps like Rockwall Brawl. It was a terrible mistake on my part doing so, which led to losing over 100 trophies... Fortunately, Barren Badlands got into the rotation, which saved me after I was able to recover the trophies with a two-hour push. I had a good amount of success on this map, but then unusual SD brawlers like Tick and Penny started to appear in my matches, they would spin like a Beyblade and spam sprays. After losing some trophies to them, I realised they were most likely wintraders that moved to that map, so I had to continue my push on Skull Creek instead.
The easiest time to push is in the morning after the shop reset because that is the time you are more likely to get into casual matches where people actually play the game instead of spinning.
