Another Quote advice

Hi Guys

Me again, got another quote from a local company and im swaying towards them

they willl remove my exisiting system (Viridian in roof 4 panel)

Angle is 20° from South

Illustration of system

And put 12 new panels on that roof

12x AIKO Solar Neostar 3S54 AIKO-A475-MCE54Mb (475W)

1x Inverter FoxESS H1/AC1 (G2) Series H1-6.0-E-G2 (6.6kW)
1x Battery storage FoxESS ECS2900-H4 (11.52kWh / 10.37kWh usable)

Estimated annual output - 5,084 kWh

All in £12,427.00

They said they can whack another 12 pannels on the back side of the house

Estimated output with 24 pannels 7,929 kWh
All in £15,883.00

Is it worth it to go for those extra with the little gain due to orientation?

Or should I just suck it up with my current system that is just under 2 years old and add battery now and change solar later? (im thinking this VAT free installtion will be ending soon though)

Sorry for the constant questions about quotes, I just want to get the best value for money

Hi guys,

Id like some advice on a quote I have just gotten.

I'm looking to add some battery storage to my house, I was kind of leaning towards Sig for all the bells and whistles and it's clean look and scalability.

But the guy mentioned a company I hadn't heard of before. Solpanet.

Id like to add some solar to my roof but honestly I'm torn based on the price. I already have 4 viridian ones in the roof (new build house came with it).

They offered to add more panels but can only get 4 more on the front and I don't want to rip out panels that are only a year and half old.

Quote below. I don't think I'm going to add more as it doesn't seem worth it for the price?

  1. 4 x AIKO 490W Panels

1. Sigenergy Sigenstor Batteries 18.0 kWh with LED (3 x 6.0 kWh)

2 x SigEnergy controller 10kW

  1. Install and Commissioning

  2. Monitoring

  3. GSE Mounting

Solar Total - £5,829.14

Battery only total - £6,900.00

-----

Please see your second quotation below

  1. 4 x AIKO 490W Panels

  2. SolPlanet 5 x 5kWh modules

2 x SolPlanet Hybrid Inverter 10kW

  1. Install and Commissioning

  2. Monitoring

  3. GSE Mounting

Solar Total - £5,829.14

Battery only total - £5,500.00

-----

Am I better off putting more money into more battery with the Sig?.

I'm told this Solpanet is at max with 5x batteries.

Is it better to have bigger invertor and more batteries so I can buy on the cheap or plunge prices with octopus agile than putting that much money into putting 4 more panels in the roof?

I don't know why they quoted 3x6 and not 2x10 (9s) though

Any advice is welcomed
