Terra work truck

I know this would be a long shot. But I wonder what the possibility of scout making a work truck version of the Terra EV truck. My main thinking is they would be the only EREV that retains the frunk. I used a lightning as a work truck and it was an absolute game changer. Having the frunk for holding all kinds of random tools/bins was amazing. These new EREVs coming to market made by ford and dodge will loose the front trunk as far as I know. Making them much less appealing to contractors. I would love it if scout would make a more bare bones version of the Terra as a work truck. No fancy interior or moon roof needed.

2026 Chevy 2500 owner thinking about making the switch

Ok, I will start out by saying I run a small remodeling business. I have an enclosed trailer I tow periodically with my tools in it. I also have a 5th wheel camper I tow. I currently have a Chevy 2500 HD diesel. So I use it for work and camping. Before this I actually had an extended range lightning in work truck trim. I absolutely loved it. It was like a dream come true for me. I had obsessed over electric trucks even before any had come out. So when I was able to purchase the lightning with the extended range battery in a trim I could afford I was ecstatic. I kept the lightning for about a year. We got a pull behind camper and went on some trips. Recharging every 100 miles sucked. Then I had major battery issues and initiated a buy back. Ford gave me pretty much full purchase price which worked out good. Since the trucks value had really dropped in that first year. So I really didn’t want to get rid of it. But the wife wanted a bigger camper, I had that check from ford In My pocket. Everyone was telling me to get a big diesel. So I did. It’s a very nice truck. I have never loved it though. Going from
An EV to a big diesel just felt like going backwards no matter how nice of a truck it was. The diesel also doesn’t make a great work truck for me. Sure it towed great but diesel is currently 6.20 locally. I get 8-10mpg around town. Absolutely awful. Of course the lightning I had was the opposite. Got amazing range around town with the regen. So I really am considering selling the 5th wheel, the 2500, and buying a Silverado EV work truck trim and getting another pull behind camper. The fuel savings alone will be major. Especially going over 5 years of what I project I will own this vehicle for. Plus oil changes, def fluid, etc. so what’s everyone’s input? Good idea? What are people getting range wise towing a pull behind camper? I usually go around 200-300 miles when camping.
