First project - Sims-themed variation of kamon
I started embroidery a few months ago and have especially been enjoying sashiko.
My best friend and I both love The Sims, and when I was browsing through my copy of Essential Sashiko the kumon design looked familiar(ish). It was easily adapted to a Sims plumbob. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, though framing it was a bit of a mission because I backed it with some wadding that was probably a bit too thick 😅
Now I'm addicted and have a few more projects on the go. It's so nice to have a hobby I can carry round in my handbag, it beats scrolling mindlessly on my phone when I find myself with a few minutes to spare!
