What can be done about the ongoing BTS bot-spamming DDOS?

Intentional or not, the influx of the BTS cult bot-scrobbling their songs - each one "listening" to a song once every fifteen seconds, twenty-four hours a day, every day - is a form of DDOS. The website has become noticeably laggy and often times out, and I believe this is principally due to the influx of the BTS ARMY spamming their wildly-inflated and fraudulent stats.

I recently posted a respectful and well-reasoned plea on their subreddit, asking them to stop hammering Listenbrainz. It was almost immediately taken down due to breaking their "No hate or snark posting." rule. Here's the thing - I used facts and logic, no hate or snark, explaining how the bot spamming is so obvious and that it's commonly known that BTS-related stats have no legitimacy, thus they are doing the opposite what they are intending to - their behavior is breeding distrust and enmity against BTS fans - while hobbling Listenbrainz in the process.

A look at the global statistics for the site reveals the absurdity of what's going on, and renders the stats meaningless as they obviously don't reflect the true listening habits of the Listenbrainz community.

Listenbrainz staff are overloaded, I'm sure, so I understand why these people haven't been banned. I'd like to offer my services to identify and ban those that aren't acting in good faith to accurately scrobble their listens. I've been happy to support the site with a monthly donation, but not to subsidize (ab)users that bog down the servers with 16x the scrobbles in any given period. Please DM me, I already have a list of the worst offenders!
