Moving back to Ireland with Japanese Spouse
Ive been overseas for a few years and am finally planning on coming back to Ireland next year. We'll have a place to stay with my family at the start but I'm wondering about documents and Visas for my Wife. For context we registered our marriage in Japan, not Ireland.
Firstly, what should we prepare before coming back? Do we have to make the Spouse Visa application before coming into the country? What documents do they look for other than the marriage cert?
Ideally she'd be looking to work and study. But I'm not too sure if that effects the application or specific visa type?
Next, whats required to get her a ppsn number card and bank account? Probably go BOI unless there's any other recommendations?
Finally, if we need to apply after arrival, who should I contact after we arrive? The border staff after arriving in the airport or is there a number I should call about it?
