Important Notification About the USL (Reddit Hates You)
Reddit recently made it so that the USL can't pull from the USL wiki, meaning you're no longer able to search usernames on the USL. Yes this is stupid and yes Reddit hates you. Our resident bot maker (/u/RegExr) is working on a fix where you can click on a link to the USL wiki of the username in question and see if they're on the list. We will probably do another META post when that's done letting y'all know when it's done and how it works
What can you do in the meantime? Follow our rules and guidelines to avoid being scammed. Make sure anyone you're dealing with can leave visible comments. Be smart and protect yourself. Be wary of phishing scams. We also have frequent scam attempts where someone will impersonate someone's username. They will message you acting like they're a different user, so be sure the usernames match exactly.
The USL still works. We can still USL people. It's just the site that allowed you to search the database for usernames that is no longer working (Thanks Reddit!)
