Hello everyone,
My 70yo grandmother was diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma on Thursday, after having some seizures. On Sunday, they did surgery to remove the tumor. After and MRI on Monday, the surgeon and doctor said they were able to fully remove it. All the detectable parts, nothing is showing up, they’re not seeing any of the tumor. She will start chemo and radiation (6 weeks) pretty soon.
So I’m curious what we may expect from here on out. She thinks she only has a small amount of time left but I think it’s just because she is fearful of this diagnosis. However, I have seen many people live a lot longer. So please share with me your stories!
