Before it was the usual cookies and annoying popup screens, now it demands an email address and login.

Dudes I just want the address for a public dance event.

Who owns that website, and why are they trying to squeeze even more cash out of it? They have ads already.

It's pure enshitification.

It comes at a time when milongas (at least in BA) are not well attended because it's low season, and the economy is in the toilet. People just want to go dance without their data being sold (and now probably fed into Palantir). Too much annoyance and they'll just stay home, where it's cozy and warm. And milongas will close down.

Did they get bought out by Meta or something 😂
