Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 Expansion Battery Idea
Like in the title says, I've got an Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2, which does not have expansion battery capability. I only use it to power my C-PAP which it's only good for maybe 2 nights. After one night its down to 55%. I'm wanting an expansion battery. I've found an "ECO-WORTHY 1000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger, Power Inverter with 55A LiFePO4 Battery Charger with 20ms UPS,12V to 110V for RV Home Roadtrip Essentials Deep Cycle Rechargeable Battery" (Amazon description). https://a.co/d/0gIfGGxE The inverter/charger with a 100ah battery should last 4 to 6 nights before the C1000 begins using its own power.
I've seen a lot of videos where the XT60 solar panel input is used connected to a battery instead of panels, but no discussions about keeping the battery maintained and charged. My thought is, to plug the C1000 into the inverter/charger's ac outlet, the battery to the charging output and the entire thing into a wall outlet.
Expansion battery>>>Charger 12v DC Input/Output
C1000>>>Inverter AC Output
Inverter/Charger>>>Wall Oulet
Power goes out the pass thru takes over, powers the C1000 till its drained then uses the C1000's power.
Tell me were I'm wrong?
