So, we know that the Authority over Truth operates by Redefining existing Logic.

From what I understand, this Redefinition can occur through two preliminary processes: Ambiguity or Deconstruction; in both scenarios, the Definition of Truth only happens at the end of the corresponding Redefinition process.

The first form of Redefinition consists of the Chaos Mist introducing Ambiguity into Logic, making it blurred, only to then Define the valid “Truth.”

For example: Suppose a Red Priest is attacking the Chaos Mist.

  • Standard logic: attack → hits → the Chaos Mist dies on the spot.

  • The Chaos Mist could introduce Ambiguity to this Logic: “after the hit, who is the 'bearer' of the attack's result? The executor? The target? A third party?” → this would open up room to Redefine the “ownership” of the consequence (after all, “He is the Truth and everything within the Gray area is Defined by Him”).

  • In this way, the Chaos Mist could invert the position of the “consequence bearer” to the Red Priest himself, or use someone from his army as a scapegoat.

The second form of Redefinition consists of the Chaos Mist Deconstructing Logic, invalidating the path that would lead to the original conclusion by demolishing the pillars that support a given system. From there, “He” reconstructs a new logical structure within the Grayness, where a different conclusion becomes valid.

Example of original Logic: “Holy is good, Profane is evil.”

  • The Chaos Mist could make it so: “Holy depends on who defines it” and “Profane may be necessary” → the opposition would lose its meaning and you wouldn't be able to use that logic to judge anything.

  • Only then could the Chaos Mist do something like: “Profane is the true purity.”

Well, this is my understanding of the vague information we have; what are your thoughts?

So, in practice, a Judge’s "Verdict" makes the world's order interpret the semantics of the phrase to exert a corresponding effect in some way.

I've been thinking about a few possibilities:

"Electrocute" (By pointing at the opponent and pronouncing the word "Electrocute," the area around the target suddenly collapses into a high-voltage discharge; arcs of golden electricity emerge from the void, locking the target's movements while they suffer severe internal and external burns.)

  • While it might not be able to kill in one shot, considering the descriptions of "Flog" and "Death," it’s safe to say that a "Verdict" has the potential to deal heavy damage to Beyonders of the same Sequence (considering even a Wind-blessed could suffer from "Flog").

  • Plus, since a Judge lacks offensive skills to effectively face opponents in domains like Death, Degeneration, or Corruption, this Verdict—due to its Purification attribute—would serve to properly deal with Devils, Vampires, Zombies, and Rose Bishops.

"Heal" (By pointing at an injury and pronouncing the word "Heal," the Judge can accelerate the regeneration of injured parts of their own body or someone else's, potentially turning a severe wound into a light one.)

  • A Verdict that heals wounds seems cool. As for effectiveness, the effect might not be instantaneous or fast enough to help mid-combat, but it functioning in neutral environments is believable.

"Sleep" (By pointing toward the opponent's head and pronouncing the word "Sleep," a Judge can induce the target to fall into a deep sleep.)

  • Whether the opponent actually stays asleep is another story; for obvious reasons, I don't think it would be as effective against a Hypnotist or Soul Assurer.

Well, I think this is good for now. I can think of a few more, like "Purify," "Incinerate," and "Explode," but honestly, I'm already getting bored.
