UI completely frozen in lobby after reinstall (POCO M5s / Helio G95) — Character moves but no buttons work. Anyone else?
Hi everyone.
I'm trying to figure out if this is a device compatibility issue, an Ubisoft bug, or something account-related.
Device:
- POCO M5s
- Android 13
- MIUI Global 14.0.16
- MediaTek Helio G95
- 8GB RAM
Game: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Mobile (installed from Google Play Store)
Problem:
- The game launches normally.
- Splash screen loads normally.
- The game enters the 3D lobby.
- My operator appears and renders correctly.
- I can rotate the character.
BUT every UI button is completely unresponsive:
- Play
- Battle Pass
- Agents
- Missions
- Store
- Settings
Also, sometimes parts of the UI appear dimmed or say "Under Maintenance."
Important detail: The game worked normally before. The issue started right after I uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
My friend on a Motorola device can play normally.
What I've already tried:
Restarted phone multiple times
Restarted router
Changed Wi-Fi networks (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
Cleared cache
Cleared app data
Force stopped app
Reinstalled the game multiple times
Waited in lobby for several minutes
Disabled Game Turbo
Disabled overlays
Changed phone language
Changed screen rotation
Reconnected Ubisoft account
Changed Ubisoft password
Connected Xbox Wireless Controller (controller works with phone, game does not detect it)
Cleared Xiaomi system cache (Joyose, Security, Launcher)
Nothing changed.
Game renders fine, but touch input on UI never works.
Anyone with POCO / Xiaomi / Helio G95 / Mali GPU experiencing this? Or anyone found a fix?
